A Bean Pod for the iPod Set

If you’re like the overwhelming majority of your species, you love to eat.  But if you live an iPod and urban-based life not conducive to filling the refrigerator with garden-fresh produce, and find yourself paying more that you know is sensible for a plate of restaurant pasta with fresh basil, you may be ready for the Bean Pod.

Put some fun into your kitchen! We've tracked down the best novelty salt and pepper shakers to brighten up your table! From modern to classic, from whimsical to fun, these novelty salt and pepper shakers are perfect to dress up any cook's kitchen!

But the Bean Pod from the UK will bring a hint of the English kitchen garden to your nearest available window or glass door.  Each Bean Pod is green in substance as well as color, being made from recyclables and reusable for as long as your supply of seeds holds out. (When last we checked, herb seeds were easy to come by, and much cheaper than the tired little leaves of "fresh herbs" sold in plastic grocery store trays.)

Attaching directly to the surface of window or glass door, The Bean Pod requires no window sill.  Simply add water to expand the round of pressed peat in each Pod, sprinkle in a few of the included seeds (choose form basil, parsley, or chives) and, with the sucker, stick the Pod to the glass.  Water as directed, and await your first harvest in a couple of weeks.  Start two or three Bean Pods at one or two week intervals and you’ll have a continuing harvest.

(If you prefer parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme to parsley, chives and basil, pay a visit to Scarborough Fair, or your nearest garden store, and buy the seeds to feed your Bean Pod.)
