Does your dad have friends in the neighborhood where you live? Does he drink with those friends at their houses? Do your dad's friends drink a lot - I mean, enough that somebody has to carry around a cooler of beer? (Or drive the cooler around - coolers of beer can be pretty heavy and very unwieldy.)

If this is the case and your dad would rather not do something silly like drive his car five houses down the street to carry a cooler of beer, you may consider getting him an alternate form of transportation, the sole purpose of which is to transport the beer around. How cool is that?

Think of it this way: You can end the danger of your dear old dad putting down the cooler and starting the drinking process early to lighten the load. Think of how appreciative those friends will be in the future when you are either (a) old enough to drink or (b) in need of a cool one yourself.

Besides, just think of the laughs everyone will get when your dad comes cruisin' down the street on his little beer scooter. They'll laugh. They'll point. Then they'll want to ride too, and you can sit out on your front porch and enjoy the show.

Ignore the fact that seeing Dad poot down the street on one of these things will be pretty embarrassing.

But who knows? Maybe you'll want a ride as well! A scooter with a beer cooler can be a cool thing. You can get one of those funky little beer sippy hats to go with it, or maybe a Rambo-style artillery belt for your beer cans. Special bottle openers. The works.

Now that the football season has started, what could possibly make a better gift for Dad? LOL
