Happiness Is a Flashing Ice Cube

The next time you have an elegant little get-together, why don't you flash your guests in a most elegant way? With ice cubes, that is.

Can you imagine the best possible summer soirée out on the patio? The sun dips lower on the horizon, your most favorite people in the universe surround you, and it's time for the drinks. The punch bowls come out, full of sparkling ice cubes. The conversation and carefree laughter start to pick up as the evening cools. People are anticipating the fruity goodness of whatever alcoholic beverage is in those punch bowls…

…and then it happens. The host or hostess hits the remote control thingamajig and cool, blue lights start dancing in the ice cubes. Everyone is impressed. Life is perfect.

Yep, happiness is a flashing ice cube. It's just that simple. Stop looking for enlightenment right this instant, because what you need is in the here and how. All you have to do is order it for 10 pounds.

This does appear to be a British product, or at least it's being sold on a British site, so you have to allow for currency conversion. But, man, these things are cool. They're reusable too. Now, if you want to fill up several punch bowls with light-up ice cubes, you will have to spend a bit more than 10 pounds, because that's the price for one set of six, but it's worth it just to light up the night and give your guests something to talk about.

So what are they? Lights, of course, remote control operated. Each one has a battery in it - but don't worry. They're sealed so nothing weird will get into the punch - at least nothing coming from the light cubes themselves.
