I love carrying pictures of my family around, but frankly, I’m not much for shuffling through my wallet to show of pictures of my beautiful, perfect angels.  (I know, modest Mama, here).  I’m also not much for a big purse or large wallet, so this keychain is wonderful to combine my love of the compact without warring with my desire to have pictures of my family with me.

What’s great about the MyLife Digital Photo Keychain is that you can carry about 64 photos of your family around with you, ready to show off at a moment’s notice. These are only compatible with the Windows OS up to Vista®, so if you’re a MAC user, you’re not going to want this specific item.  But if you’re a PC user and use Windows, you’ll love it.   The software that comes with the keychain is easy to use. You can upload the pics to the device through a simple USB port and even change them around if you get bored.

The software is plug-n-play, so you don’t have to edit or resize the photos when you load them into the keychain.  Even with a small, 1.5 inch screen, you get great color and clarity on the pictures.  The battery is also rechargeable, giving you about two hours of viewing per charge, so that’s lots of showing off pictures in line at the grocery store!  (Doesn’t everyone haul out photos to brag on their kids and grandkids at the store?  Well, I do, so there!)  The side navigation buttons make it really easy to scroll through your pictures.

I constantly have people asking me where I can get these, actually, because they’re so cute and so easy to use.  I think that little photo viewers are going to be the wave of the future for showing off pictures and I’m glad to have my own keychain be on the cutting edge!

Subtle Butt is one of those rare products that are funny, useful, interesting, and beautiful all at the same time.  Subtle Butt is an amazing disposable gas neutralizer that will prevent those embarrassing 'butt' odors from ruining your next date, family gathering, or day at the office.  In other words, it’s a fart pad and the company that makes it, Garment Guard, has a very funny demonstration video that gets its point across while also being quite entertaining.

Aside from the laugh factor, Subtle Butt is a real product that could be very useful for those who have a problem with gas, or fear the risk of a farting incident after a trip to their local Mexican restaurant.   Each package comes with five filter pads that are 3.25" wide and 1/32" thick and are made of soft, antimicrobial fabric.  Inside each pad is an odor absorbing carbon filter that gas odors can adhere to and become neutralized before they waft past the butt area.  There are two adhesive strips that make each pad easy to adhere to boxers, briefs, or even thong underwear.

While this is certainly an interesting product that could be a saving grace for anyone with gas issues, it is also quite beautiful because you no longer have to worry about your date, family, or coworkers knowing you had those beans for dinner!  Of course, the pads only stop odors, not sounds, so you will still have to be mindful of that.

In today's disposable society, it seems like just about everything is made of plastic.  Things aren't as well made as they used to be, prompting us to throw them out when they break or get worn out.

It's no secret that the result of all of this plastic is a planet full of landfills and running short on resources.  While there's no simple solution, we can all do our part by buying products that limit their use of plastics and chemicals.

A great place to start is with products that you use every day in your home.  The Vers 2X is a wonderful example of how everyday products can be redesigned to use more renewable materials and less plastic. 

The Vers 2X is an all-in-one iPod stereo that can play and charge most types of iPods.  The powerful amplifier gives a sound so big and clear that it's hard to believe it's coming from such a compact stereo.

The best part of the 2X is that its case is made of wood, not plastic.  The cherry veneer looks much classier than the stereo's plastic counterparts, and the design utilizes the natural acoustic capacity of real wood. 

The company that makes the system uses environmentally sound and renewable resources for the construction of each unit.  They also use nothing but recycled materials for packaging and shipping, and they shun plastic zip ties and other wasteful bits of packaging.

You can't always say that the more environmentally-friendly version of a product is more attractive than the original.  In this case, though, the "green" option is lovely, durable, and will make beautiful music for many years to come.
