More than just a movie editor, Cuts will rehash movies, hide scenes and sounds like cussing that you'd rather not see - or have your children exposed to. You can also  add your comments or some video to movies.  Scene hiding can include scenes you think too scary for the kids.

Cuts avoids the copyright infringement problems other editing companies have faced by not changing the original film in any way.  The perceived changes caused by something more like a content filter than an actual change, so you only see the changes when viewing the film through Cuts.
